Ben Pace

Chief Financial Officer

Ben Pace joined C Spire in 2000. In his role as chief financial officer, he is responsible for all accounting and financial control functions. Additionally, he oversees capital financing, mergers and acquisitions and participates in the strategic planning of the company. Prior to joining C Spire, Pace served as a vice president with Regions Bank (formerly Deposit Guaranty Corp.) and as a staff accountant with a big four accounting firm.

Pace earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in professional accountancy from Mississippi State University. He is a certified public accountant, a chartered global management accountant and a member of several professional affiliations including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants. Pace serves on the industry committee for the Mississippi Society.

Along with his duties at C Spire, Pace is a member of the Mississippi State University school of accountancy advisory board, the Mississippi Aquarium board, has served on the Greater Jackson Chamber Partnership board, and has volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America, where he was the advancement chairman for several years. Pace has also volunteered with youth sports and on school committees over the years.
